VibeGlance Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 24, 2026
This policy applies to VibeGlance for macOS, provided by AiFRev. It explains what the app processes, where information stays, and the choices available to you.
Data collection
AiFRev does not collect or store personal data from VibeGlance on its own servers. The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or developer-operated remote analytics. Local processing and optional connections described below are not uploads to AiFRev.
Information processed on your Mac
- Files and folders you select, workspace references and pinned application shortcuts are used to provide the requested local features.
- File conversion, OCR and supported document processing take place locally. Output files are saved to the location you select.
- Preferences, reminder schedules, connection settings and local diagnostic information may be stored on your Mac. Authentication information is stored locally using macOS security facilities where applicable.
- Music controls read playback information, including track metadata and artwork, from the Music app after you grant Automation permission. Playback uses your own library or Apple Music account; VibeGlance does not host or redistribute recordings.
Optional accounts and integrations
No VibeGlance account or Apple sign-in is required for local features. Optional Sign in with Apple processes the information Apple returns locally; AiFRev does not operate a server that receives or stores this identity information.
If you enable a supported integration, VibeGlance communicates with the service or installed application you choose. For example, GitHub authorization and repository requests go to GitHub, and the Codex integration can access available usage information from your installed Codex environment. Those providers may process information under their own policies. AiFRev does not collect GitHub authorization, installation or repository records through its own backend or webhooks.
Optional local activity observation requires separate setup and consent. It processes activity information locally to show available status. Enable only the integrations you want to use.
Permissions and your choices
You choose which files, folders and optional integrations the app can access. You can decline optional connections, disconnect them, and manage applicable permissions in macOS System Settings. You can revoke third-party authorization through the relevant provider. Declining a permission may prevent the feature that needs it from working.
Retention and deletion
Local preferences and connection records remain until removed or reset. Files you export remain in your chosen location until you delete them. Disconnect optional integrations and revoke their permissions when no longer needed. Removing the app may not remove every preference, exported file or Keychain item; contact us if you need help removing remaining local information. AiFRev has no server-side app-data copy to retain or delete.
Third-party services and purchases
Apple handles App Store downloads and payments under its own policies. Optional Apple, GitHub and OpenAI services operate under their respective privacy policies and account settings. This policy describes VibeGlance, not those providers or the hosting of this website.
Support and policy updates
If you contact us voluntarily, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond to your request. Do not send passwords, access tokens or private files. We will update this page if the app’s privacy practices change and revise the effective date.
